Dr. S. Ali Mohamed
Dr. Mohamed can only be described as a Renaissance man, in
a modern age. He is a Harvard-trained physician, fluent in
seven languages and a pioneer in the fields of Pain and Age
Management. He completed a double major in Biology and Philosophy,
cum laude, at Pomona College. Dr. Mohamed then attended Albany
Medical College in Albany, NY, graduating with an M.D. with
a Distinction in Research. He completed an Internship at the
Department of Surgery, and his Residency in Anesthesiology
at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He completed
numerous research projects, many award-winning, during his
internship and residency. He then proceeded to the Pain Clinic,
Department of Anesthesia at the world-renowned Massachusetts
General Hospital of Harvard Medical School, in Boston. Here,
he completed his fellowship in Pain Management and authored
articles during his busy fellowship. More importantly, he
contributed two chapters to the physician textbook, The Massachusetts
General Hospital Handbook of Pain Management. This textbook
is used globally by physicians, and is now in its second edition.
